SHEA WATER PASSPORT Course Content
The course comprises eight modules on the topic of health, safety and environment in the water industry, these are are:-
Module 1: Understanding our workplace responsibilities
Module 2: Understanding the effects of our work on the environment
Module 3: Identifying and controlling risks
Module 4: Common hazards in the workplace
Module 5: Sewerage network and process operations
Module 6: Highway working and excavation
Module 7: Occupational health hazards
Module 8: Responding to emergencies

Examination and Assessment
A multiple choice examination paper is taken following each taught module.
Certification
The delegate who successfully completes the course will be registered online with a Virtual Card and SmartPhone app. An optional SHEA Water Passport SmartCard can take 5 weeks for delivery.

Energy and Utility Skills – the sector skills body for the UK water industry.
Important Information
All delegates need to bring a form of photo identification, this can include a Passport or Driving Licence.
Tutor
Peter Bradley has over 30 years experience in working in the water industry, many of those years were as HSE Manager with United Utilities. He has earned a MSc in Process Safety and Loss Prevention from Sheffield University, a Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner (CMIOSH) and is trained as a teacher with a Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector from the University of Chester.
